Stratford Heritage Exhibition
July-September 2025

Harvard House

We are delighted to announce that the Stratford Heritage Exhibition at Harvard House, High Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, is now open, until the end of September. The Stratford Society has partnered with the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust (SBT) to deliver the exhibition, providing local people and visitors with a taste of our town’s history. The exhibition includes:
  • The opportunity to delve into Stratford's history from the earliest times to the present day
  • Richly illustrated interpretation boards covering aspects of Stratford's history including early Stratford, the church, local industry and stories about our people and what they achieved
  • A specially curated selection of unique objects, from both SBT Collections and those of private collectors
  • Activities to engage children and families
  • Learn about Stratford's canal basins and Harry Cowan's model here

We also invite you to share your own stories and memories with our volunteer staff.

Update: So far (to the end of the first week in August) we've had 2,600 visitors of whom over 400 have signed the visitors' book. Come along and see the exhibition and add your thoughts. We want to learn how to make it even better!

Opening Hours
  • Every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10.30 to 3.30, until the end of September.
Admission is free.
There is access for wheelchairs or mobility scooters (up to a maximum wheelchair/scooter width of 70cm) - please ask for assistance as a ramp is available.

We regret we can't permit food and drink in this historic building.
We're also grateful for the support of Stratford District Council in making this exhibition possible.
