Stratford Heritage Exhibition 2025
Harvard House
From July-September 2025 the Stratford Society, in partnership with the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust (SBT) ran a Stratford Heritage Exhibition, providing local people and visitors with a taste of our town’s history. The exhibition included:
- The opportunity to delve into Stratford's history from early times to the present
- Richly illustrated interpretation boards covering aspects of Stratford's history
- A specially curated selection of unique objects, from both SBT Collections and those of private collectors
- Activities to engage children and families
- Learn about Stratford's canal basins and Harry Cowan's model here
The exhibition was even more successful then we anticipated (!) with:
- 7,526 visitors over 48 days
- 528 visitor feedback forms completed
- Approx. 1,000 entries in our visitor book
- Overall, feedback was consistently positive and we are currently working on an in-depth analysis of comments received so we can build on last year's success
More fabulous facts
- We were open Thursday to Sunday each week. The most popular day of the week was Saturday
- The most popular day overall was Saturday 16 August when we hosted 285 people over five hours
- The three most popular weeks were (not surprisingly) in August
