Monday 20 February, 6.00 pm - White Swan

Paul Taylor is Head of Museum and Curatorial Services at SBT, where he has overall responsibility for the Trust’s internationally significant museum, library and archive collections and their interpretation. Paul has been with the Trust since 2012, having previously worked at the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum in Coventry on a range of collections information and digital access projects. He is also a Trustee of Escape Arts and the Dugdale Society. He studied History at the University of York before completing a MA in Museum Studies at the University of Leicester.

Paul will describe the changing evolution of the collections, some of the people who have looked after them, and the connections with Stratford-upon-Avon. He is keen to explore new ways of engaging museum audiences with collections by delivering projects that translate collections knowledge and expertise into cultural experiences.
