Christmas Quiz Evening 2024

Monday 16 December, 6pm - White Swan Hotel

Christmas Quiz night with our very own quizmasters, and back by popular demand. Wine, soft drinks, crisps and nibbles were provided, and a prize for the winner. Members tested out their knowledge of North Warwickshire, with a mixture of bafflement and fun! The function room at the White Swan was set up with tables and was beautifully decorated.

Questions and answers on matters local, historical and seasonal, devised by Margaret Cund, were illustrated by beautiful pictures. The winner was Pauline Pearson.

Report on the evening

Members of the society gathered for a festive drink and nibbles, and a challenging quiz on North Warwickshire’s famous places and people.  Although most of us didn't know all the answers, we did learn a lot and have places to visit in the future! Thanks to Margaret Cund for the interesting and varied questions, and to Lindsay MacDonald for the photographic clues.  Also, thanks to the organisers for an enjoyable party.  We hope to see more of you in 2025 – there is an interesting and varied programme of talks planned for you.
