 Fictionalising Historic Stratford

Ellie Stevenson

Monday 20 November - White Swan Hotel - 6pm

Ellie Stevenson is a book coach and author. She has written six books (4 novels) and coaches clients, including entrepreneurs, supporting them in writing (novel, memoir or non-fiction) and helping them to realise the benefits this can bring.

Based on research she undertook for her latest novel, Shadows of a Lost Poet, set in a fictional version of Stratford, Ellie will be talking about Victorian and Edwardian Stratford-upon-Avon and the history behind the novel.

The plot is centred on the grand house and gardens at Avon Bank, between the theatre and the church, which was formerly the home of Charles and Sarah Flower, and subsequently of Canon Melville and his wife Eleanor.
