Delivering our Climate Change Plan
David Barber – Warwick and Stratford District Councils

David has been Programme Director for Climate Change in Warwick District since 2020 and took on that role jointly for Stratford District in 2021. Working across both Districts, the role involves coordinating the Councils’ ambitions to reduce carbon emissions and to help our economy, communities and environment adapt to climate change. Prior to his current role, he was Head of Development Services (planning) for Warwick DC and led the Council’s work on preparing the adopted local plan. He will talk about the Council's progress for dealing with climate change, including priorities, plans and challenges in delivery.
